Today was a long and beautiful day. So I’m keeping it short, and promising more from tomorrow’s 70 blistering hot miles.
After crossing into New York, and before climbing a mountain, we had a cup of coffee in the cutest diner. I already have thirty new best friends–something that can only happen in six days when in such an intense setting.
With the diner’s owner’s blessings and well-wishings, we headed up and over the mountain between us and Poughkeepsie.
It does not look like much from the top of the first hill, but it was indescribably difficult, and completely amazing. Today I climbed up and over a mountain. If I can do that, what is stopping me from reaching any height?
